Puerto Galera!!

Nag-outing na naman ang mga junakis ni Paulita Gomez! One reason why I love my work eh dahil sa mga activities na ganito! Sakit ng katawan ko kaka snorkeling, kakatakbo, kaka swimming at kaka-shiver. Pero all-in-all, ang saya-saya!!

Photobucket

The beach without the sun...

Photobucket

Ang bar na ito... Dito nakilala ni Verna ang "Sweetest Boy" ng Puerto Galera!!
Yihiii... May love-life na si bakla!!
Photobucket
Nung gabi, nag-bar-hopping kami. Hehe. Kalayawan... Kalayawan... Mga couple na nagpi-PDA... Inuman... Sigawan... Etc... Etc... Ang mga mata ko...

Mindoro Sling... Hindi nakakalasing... Ching!

Bawal yan oist!!

Fourth-month! :D
Sorry po for the inconvenience.
I already changed the setting.

Pero dahil "pinged" ang lahat ng entries, kahit i-private ko ang chat...
Makikita parin sa google ang blog archive number at name mo.
Pero pag kinlick mo yun, sasabihin sayo "Ooops!"
Hindi ma-a-access.

Yun.

Sorry, sana oks na. Wag daw kasi tayo mapanghusga... Ehehe. Peace po! :D

The Rock (1996)

=====Spoiler Alert=====

A group of rogue Marines from Force Recon, led by a disenchanted Brigadier General, Francis X. Hummel (Ed Harris), seize a stockpile of rockets armed with VX nerve agent, a modern chemical weapon of nightmarish virulence, and then take over Alcatraz Island during a guided tour, taking 81 tourists hostage in the prison cells. Hummel threatens the Pentagon with launching VX gas rockets against the population of the San Francisco Bay Area unless the government pays reparations, including compensation to the families of Marines who died on illegal, clandestine missions.

The Pentagon and FBI officials decide to deploy a Navy SEAL team to retake the island and free Hummel's hostages by stealth. In need of first-hand knowledge of the underground tunnels of Alcatraz, they are forced to release the imprisoned John Patrick Mason (Sean Connery): the only inmate of Alcatraz who ever successfully escaped (which was covered up). FBI chemical weapons expert Dr. Stanley Goodspeed (Nicolas Cage) — socially nerdy and bumbling — is also recruited, to neutralize the VX gas threat. The two men and the SEAL team commence their raid on Alcatraz. Meanwhile, the Pentagon prepares a secondary countermeasure to Hummel's VX gas rockets: readying prototype "thermite plasma" bombs capable of incinerating the poison gas, but which will also kill any person left on the island.

FBI Director James Womack (John Spencer) and his West Coast subordinate Ernest Paxton (William Forsythe) direct the SEAL incursion via helmet monitors. Soon after getting onto the island, the SEALs are discovered by the Marines and trapped in a bottleneck. During a tense exchange between Hummel and Anderson (Michael Biehn), the SEALs' commander, the SEALs are startled and open fire on the marines. Surrounded and weakly positioned (on lower ground without cover), the SEALs are quickly dispatched, leaving only Goodspeed and Mason alive. Paxton demands they abort the mission, believing there is no way for Mason and Goodspeed to succeed on their own. Womack then reveals Mason's history as a former British SAS officer who had been ordered by his government to steal J. Edgar Hoover's secret files, covering nearly every US state secret from the alien landings at Roswell to the JFK assassination. Captured at the Canadian border thirty years earlier, he has been held secretly and without trial ever since for refusing to reveal the hidden location of the files. Womack hopes Mason's anger and training will be enough to see the mission through.

Mason and Goodspeed repeatedly battle small groups of Marines to great effect, and as the night wears on, they manage to remove the guidance chips from thirteen of the fifteen missiles, until finally they are captured close to dawn and left unguarded in holding cells. Mason frees them both with only an hour and two missiles remaining.

Meanwhile, the thermite-plasma weapons are readied, and armed F-18s begin to approach Alcatraz ready to blanket the island, destroying the chemical weapons and killing the hostages. The deadline passes and the Pentagon calls Hummel and asks for another hour to transfer the money. Consequently, the Marines fire one of the two remaining rockets at a football game, but Hummel redirects the missile at the last minute to detonate harmlessly at sea. Having balked at launching against civilian targets, Hummel reveals the nerve gas threat to be a bluff. The marines who served under Hummel who are loyal to him agree to end the stand-off, but the mercenary marines who were hired only for this mission decide to fire the remaining missile and a short gun-battle ensues, in which Hummel and his loyalists are shot dead, with Goodspeed and Mason looking on. With his dying breath, Hummel tells Goodspeed the location of the last rocket.

While Mason battles the traitorous marines, Goodspeed rushes to locate and disarm the last rocket. After extracting the VX from the rocket, Goodspeed is attacked by the last remaining Marine. Outmatched, Goodspeed uses the VX to kill the Marine by forcing it into the Marine's mouth, thus causing him to die horrifically as well as exposing Goodspeed to the toxin (at a lower concentration). Goodspeed then forcefully injects an antidote (atropine) into his own heart to save himself. Weakened, he desperately scrambles to the open ground to signal the command center to abort the airstrike, which would needlessly kill many hostages. However, the abort command is received too late by the pilots, and one accidentally drops the first of its thermite-plasma payload onto the island. Fortunately, the bomb misses the hostages' cell block, and only throws Goodspeed into the water, where he is promptly rescued by Mason. When the FBI arrives to secure Alcatraz, Goodspeed informs them that escaping Mason was actually "vaporized," hence releasing him to freedom, anonymity, and his estranged daughter. Before his departure, however, Mason tells Goodspeed the location of the secret microfilm he'd stolen, and the movie closes with Goodspeed and his pregnant bride Carla recovering the microfilm, along with half a century of state secrets.

Romeo Must Die (2000)

====Spoiler Alert

The film opens at Silk's (played by DMX) nightclub, where Po Sing (played by Jon Kit Lee), the son of Chinese Triad boss Ch'u Sing (played by Henry O), is confronted by several African-American gang members. Po's bodyguards, led by Kai (played by Russell Wong) come to his aid, resulting in a fight in the club. After the Chinese are ushered out of the nightclub, Kai argues with Po, resulting in the latter driving away in anger.

The next morning, Po Sing's body is found dangling from a light pole, dead. The news quickly travels to Ch'u, as well as the boss of the black gang, Isaak O'Day (played by Delroy Lindo).

The scene shifts to Hong Kong, where Po's brother, Han Sing (played by Jet Li), is currently incarcerated. Han, formerly a cop, had taken the fall for his brother and father, who have both since escaped to America. Upon hearing of his brother's death, Han breaks out of prison and heads for the US.

The character of Trish O'Day (played by Aaliyah in her first film role) is then introduced. Although the daughter of a notorious crime boss, Trish wants nothing to do with her father or crime, and is reluctant when Maurice (played by Anthony Anderson), working for her father, comes to act as her bodyguard and babysitter.

Trish manages to give Maurice the slip at a music store and gets into a cab, which coincidentally Han is stealing. The two drive for Trish's house, and along the way, they become fast friends. Meanwhile, Isaak is meeting with shady businessman Vincent Roth (played by Edoardo Ballerini), where it is revealed they are planning to build a football stadium.

Trish then runs into Colin O'Day (played by D.B. Woodside), her brother, at her store. Unlike Trish, Colin is willing to follow in his father's footsteps and go into the world of business. At the same time, Han breaks into his deceased brother's apartment, reminiscing about when the pair emigrated to Hong Kong by sea as children. Using the phone's redial function, he discovers the last number Po called before he died, Trish's store.

At a diner, Trish is then accosted by Mac (played by Isaiah Washington), Isaak's leading agent and all-around best man, who stresses the need for Trish's safety due to the rising level of gang warfare. Upon arriving home, she runs into Han, who has followed her in order to talk to her about his brother's death. Maurice and other gangsters under the employ of Isaak then arrive, who find Han, resulting in a fight where Han then steals Maurice's car and drives away.

Han then shows up at Po's funeral, where he confronts his father and demands to know the identity of his brother's killer. Afterwards, Han meets up with Kai, who explains the reason for the gang warfare - half of the precious waterfront property is owned by the Triad, the other half owned by assorted black gangsters and businessmen. Battle is erupting to determine which side will result in controlling the majority of the property.

Han meets Trish again, inquiring about Po's death, during which a humorous football sequence occurs. Later, at Colin's apartment, Colin and a friend are thrown out of a window by an unidentified assassin. Han then returns to Po's place to find it ransacked. Han then sees Trish amongst the mess, and she tells him about a childhood memory between her and Colin. Finding a list of addresses hidden in a cane in Po's car, Han and Trish decide to visit them, only to find that the Chinese owners have been killed by assassins.

After a chase sequence, Han confronts one of the assassins, only to discover she is actually Chinese. After bringing this information to his father, Ch'u dismisses it as a plot by Isaak. Another scene then follows where Mac muscles a black fisherman out of his waterfront estate. Then Kai and Chinese agents arrive at a Chinese-owned waterfront business, where the Triad agents kill the Chinese owners and take their property deeds. It is revealed that the entire conspiracy is actually a plot by Ch'u and Mac to rob all the waterfront owners of their precious property in order to sell it to Roth, who is planning to use the land to build a stadium.

Deciding to take action, Han and Trish go to Silk's club, the only place on the list of addresses that has yet to be invaded or signed over. There, they witness Mac killing Silk in order to obtain his land deeds. Han is then beaten unconscious, and when he comes to he is in a warehouse surrounded by Maurice and other gang members. In an extended fight sequence, Han manages to escape, and heads for Trish.

At Roth's estate, Ch'u signs over his ill-gotten property deeds for a vast sum of money, followed by Isaak then arriving to do the same. Isaak, however, changes his mind and decides not to sell his property to Roth, but instead go into business with Roth and become his partner in the management of the stadium. Mac, fed up, turns on Isaak, and reveals the plot and that he is, in fact, Colin's killer. Enraged, Isaak attacks Mac, resulting in a gunfight between Mac's agents and Roth's agents.

In the ensuing chaos, Roth attempts to escape with the deeds, but Mac chases him, causing most of the deeds to become lost. Han then arrives and confronts Mac on the rooftop, where Mac is shot dead by Trish. Han then leaves for Ch'u's place, intending to confront his father once and for all.

Along the way, Han gets into a fight with Kai, where he eventually kills him. Han then angrily demands of Ch'u, who reveals he had Po killed to protect his business venture. Ch'u then asks if Han plans to kill him, who replies that he has already honored his brother's memory by killing Kai, his murderer, and he plans to let fate decide what to do with Ch'u. As Han is walking away, his father commits suicide.

Han then meets up with Trish. They embrace and the two walk away together as the credits roll.

Handog Namin
HANDOG NAMIN

Chorus:
Oh Dios dinggin ang pag-aalay
ng awit na wagas at tunay
Pagpupuri at pagpupugay,
handog namin ang aming buhay.

Ikaw ang aming tanging pag-asa,
walang hanggan ang aming ligaya,
Sa pag-ibig Mo'y nagtitiwala,
kami sa 'Yo ay sumasamba

Ikaw ang aming naging patnubay
Sa pagtahak sa landas ng buhay
Pagmamahal Mo sa'mi'y dalisay,
kaya't umibig kaming tunay.

Repeat Chours:

Pasasalamat walang hangganan
Hanggang sapitin ang Yong tahanan
Sa paraiso ay mapipisan
Sa piling Mo sa walang hanggan

Repeat Chorus:

Bridge:
Dinggin pagsamo nami't dalangin
sa 'Yo Amang giliw

Oh Dios dinggin ang pag-aalay
ng awit na wagas at tunay
Pagpupuri at pagpupugay,
handog namin...

Oh Dios dinggin ang pag-aalay
ng awit na wagas at tunay
Pagpupuri at pagpupugay,
handog namin... ang aming buhay.

Tanging sa 'Yo kailan pa man.

How Can I forget You?
I am really trying my best but my actions really make the situation worst.

Like how I dwell on this .gif file I found in the net.

Haaay... So great yet so
humble.

This is Jerry. One-handedly shoots the ball while facing away from the court. I'm not saying you look a lot like Jerry because that is honestly far from reality. You don't look an inch of a china-man although you bravely broadcasted to everybody that you are from a chinese descent. What I see in this .gif file, well aside from the unbelievable basketball trick, is his humble reaction after making it to goal. You see how his stooped face and gestured hands put a flattered look in his closed eyes and shy smile? You see it? You do?

Did you see your self in it?

Because I did.

I saw no one but you.

You always cast that very same reaction each time you perfected your world-class Filipino-style Spaghetti. Which was once my favorite food. It also reminds me of your flattered-looking smile when I give you compliments after a great, steamy and breathless "secret"

This .gif file made me cry.
This is your signature "Yes" pose.
This expression is exactly yours my DrLn.
It's exactly yours.

Haaay... So great yet so humble.

Gearing Up for Thanksgiving
(Source: Kaanib.net)

Gearing up for Thanksgiving

Spoiling the fun itinerary because a valuable is left at home is a common scenario. Here's a checklist for every excited brother or sister for the upcoming International Thanksgiving.

CARRY ONs

A set mind, body and soul As reiterated every thanksgiving orientation we attend, they are the most important to prepare. Remember that there will be a number of hindrances along the way before Thanksgiving Day comes.

Church ID Compliance to security helps everyone. Identification card is useful to distinguish the registered members from a civilian who enters the convention center.

Bible The Bible makes complete reference in understanding the topic and keeping on track of the lecture. At times, listeners tend to overhear the ideas that the lecturer points out and the key to be on page is to re-read the source, in this case, the verses in the Bible that was mentioned during the topic explanation.

Notebook and Pen The human mind is not retentive enough to store rich information. It is better to note key points in the lecture for future reference.

Mat Handy mats are for power naps during break. It also acts as dust shield during prayer time. It feels better to fulfill tasks with a little convenience.

Wet and dry tissue Why forget these bathroom buddies? Wet tissue aids to freshen up, while dry tissue saves from total mess.

Rags, plastic bags and portable sweepers Keep the surroundings clean. Pick up trash that you see (such as candy wrappers, crumpled papers, etc.). It is quite nice if everybody helps to maintain a spill-free area.

Set of Handkerchiefs & Face Towels Wipe the tears, mucus and sweat away. Bring those squared linens along.

Throw Pillow Having back aches and spasms? Why not get a throw pillow to support your back? Just make sure not to sleep during lecture.

Non-spill Mug or Extra Water Bottles Non-spill mugs are usually thermal mugs as well.  Before lecture starts, fill it up with Power Plus coffee to keep you awake. Breaks are good 'breaks' to fill up empty water bottles, so when the program resumes, you never have to go to-and-fro to quench that thirst.

Spoon, fork and plastic plate If you prefer to take meals sitting, be sure to bring these meal partners!

Jogging Pants/ Pajamas Women are advised to wear jogging pants for their comfort and protection.

Extra Polo and Pants for men, blouses and skirts for women Changing clothes after a quick wash can soothe that irritating and sticky feeling.

Fully Charged Mobile Phones It helps not to add up to the electricity consumption in the congregational center. It is best to spare the electricity solely for equipments needed for broadcast and thanksgiving.

Portable chair Share a seat. An extra chair will give comfort to a brother or sister who stands or sits on the floor.

Bite Size – biscuits/ candies, bread, packed sandwiches, boiled eggs/red eggs, etc. Stay up and gain energy from those ready to eat food.

Power C, Grape Seed, Power Drops Power up and stay healthy with Power Plus™ products.

House Keys Keep house keys in the bag. This is the most common valuable that travelers tend to forget.

Going there and getting back Safety first! Unplug electrical devices and switch off lights at home. Turn off central water control.

Ensure that the vehicle that will be used is tuned up. General automotive checkup can be done at least a week before PBK to see if there's any problem (from breaks, machine, wheels, muffler, etc.).

Upon arriving at the convention center parking space, keep in mind that the priority for the slots is those coming from far places. One can consider giving way for them to utilize better parking space.

Mask/ Handkerchief/ Face Towel to cover nose and mouth to lessen the pollution we inhale Carbon monoxide from vehicles weakens the lungs and the entire body. Covering the nose will save you a lot from this soft killing element.

Tool Box A boy scout is better than an expert technician who leaves his tools.

Extra Money Pocket money should be considered as well for emergencies, extending help to others who have no food or drink during.

Say no to heat stroke and engine overheat Water intake will help you and your car to cool off.

Choose the right bag Most people nowadays are inflicted with the "Big Bag Syndrome", having their stuff all packed in their bag. Some say they almost carried their home. If you can't help bringing all those stuff, here's a suggestion – pick the right bag to use.

A back pack balances the weight of the bag's load, compared to huge shoulder bags that usually cause muscle pains. This is more convenient and comfortable to carry with your shoulders and your back rests against it.

Another is, traveling bags help prevent hernia (this occurs when the contents of a body cavity bulge out of the area where they are normally contained – from emedicinehealth.com) usually caused by carrying heavy loads. It is good for those who erased "light packing" in their vocabulary.

Well organized trip loops in safe, fun and memorable experience. It would not hurt if the belongings will be packed prior to the marked dates December 27 – 29 across the list that was set up.

Calling for merriment, advance HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
